How long have you been fly fishing?

I have fished all my life, but it wasn’t until I moved to Montana 7 years ago, that I picked up a fly rod for the first time.

Favourite type of fishing?

Any type of fishing will work. Either fly or conventional. I just like to be outside!

Favourite holiday destination and why?

I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world. I don’t really have just 1 favourite place. I do love to get back to Vancouver B.C. to visit my family. So that might be my favourite place to visit now.

Your favorite outdoor adventure story of all time?

I just recently did a photoshoot in Alaska. It was a 5 day float on a very remote river, surrounded by big mountains, and big grizzly bears. The river had class 4 rapids, some epic views and beautiful Grayling as well. The whole adventure was amazing, and I photographed over 13,000 images.

Favorite fishing memory?

Any time I have fished with my dad. I made a short film about my first fishing memory. I was 3 years old and went Ice fishing in Norway with my dad and Uncle. All I remember is just how cold it was.

Why do you love living where you live?

I love living in Montana.  It’s got great fishing access and amazing views. You can ride horses, mountain bike and fish all in the same day.

Favorite food?

Sushi

Must have accessory when in the wild?

Favorite camping food?

Smores are always a must have.

Where I call home?

I’m originally from West Vancouver, B.C. but now live just south of Missoula Montana.

Principles I live by?

You have to just keep working hard and good things will come to you. Also, treat people the way you want to be treated.

 What’s on your bucket list?

My father is Norwegian, and I have been lucky enough to visit my extended family there since I was little. Bucket list would be to go fly fishing there one day.
