Born & raised in a very, very small town in Northern Ontario and moved to BC on my own in 2011, and living my wildest dreams ever since. My greatest sense of achievement is being a role model to all the girls who aren't afraid to run with the boys -- because chances are, they won't be able to keep up!
How long have you been fly fishing?
What’s your favourite type of fly fishing?
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Most of my holidays are spent going home to Northern Ontario on the north shore of Lake Superior. It will always be my favourite holiday destination because it holds so many of my fishing and hunting childhood memories with my parents.
Favourite fishing memory?
My favourite fishing memory is getting to go on a 3-day heli-fishing trip in 2016 to the upper Pitt River. Endless massive bull trout on the fly and views most people only dream off. Hands down the best 3 days of my entire life.
Why do you love living where you live?
Living in British Columbia is a 365-day “staycation”. I feel like I’m on vacation every single day of the year. Not many people can say they are able to fish some of the top rivers in North America in the morning, and ski world-class mountains in the afternoon… on the same day!
Oreos & Ring Pops!
Favourite camping food?
“Teach your daughters to worry less about fitting into glass slippers, and more about shattering glass ceilings.”
What’s on your bucket list?
I want to make it to fly fish in Belize (and hit a grand slam!) and Norway one day.
